M.P. Mishra is a well known environmentalist, science journalist and educationist of India. He is specially known for his unique researches and projects in the field of Conservation of Biodiversity, Wildlife Protection, Animal Welfare and Phytopathology. He has been the Chief Editor of ECOSOC, an environmental newsletter for international circulation and has been an active coordinator of a large number of science activities conducted by National Council of Science and Technology Communications, Government of India for many years. He has been the President of Ranchi based Branch of People for Animals, a prestigious Animal Welfare Organization of India. He has published more than one hundred articles and research papers in the field of Science, Environment and Phytopathology and has authored several books out of which many are best sellers.
